Experience and class sizes..

My name is Ronda Mattox, and I have been teaching swimming lessons here in Griffin for 35 years.  What started as a teen-age job has turned into a ministry opportunity for me enabling me to work at the job I love the most…teaching and working with children. I started out teaching private lessons to just a few students and am now teaching group and private lessons for all ages (infants through adult) each summer.  I have been trained by the Red Cross in life guard techniques, basic swim instruction, and CPR and rescue breathing.  

  We offer a small teacher to student ratio (our goal is 2 teachers/assistants to every 3 children with some of our classes offering a 2:1 ratio). We keep our groups small (usually no more than 6-7 per class) so as to offer the most individualized instruction as possible for each student.

We sold our home/pool in 2020 and have had to postpone our new build. We are currently using 2 private pools in Orchard Hill (Griffin) and Brooks, GA. The address will be on your confirmation postcard you’ll receive once we process your registration.
